Kocaelispor, founded in 1966 in İzmit, Kocaeli, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Green-Blacks / Kocaelispor, it collected the 1996–97 Turkish Cup (vs Trabzonspor) and 2001–02 and İsmetpaşa.
