Crest meaning
Look at the badge of Jong AZ and you are looking at the club’s public face in Netherlands. Even when kits change, the crest is the thread that keeps the story continuous. For anyone collecting football badges, this one sits naturally among the local marks of Netherlands.
History
Jong AZ is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in Netherlands. Since 2003 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Eerste Divisie means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Jong AZ play at AFAS Trainingscomplex, the stands hold roughly 1,500 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Jong AZ belongs to Alkmaar, Netherlands.
