History
Heracles Almelo, founded in 1903 in Almelo, Twente, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Superfriezen / Heraclieden, it collected historic Dutch championships (1920s) and modern Eredivisie cycles. Rivalry with o FC Twente, no Twente derby and a black and white identity shape fans and narrative. Asito Stadion, local support and Asito Stadion (Polman) sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
