History
Hamburger SV II is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in Germany. Whatever the precise start date, Hamburger SV II feels woven into the sporting habits of Hamburgo. In Regionalliga Nord they share the calendar with regional rivals and the occasional surprise cup run. When Hamburger SV II play at Volksbank Stadion, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. That mix of place, patience and belonging is what makes Hamburger SV II matter beyond the final score.
