History
Granada Club de Fútbol, founded in 1931 in Granada, is a reference for eastern Andalusia. La Liga spells, European campaigns and rivalry with Málaga marked Nazarí identity. Red and white colours link the club to the Alhambra city. Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes hosts supporters; promotion and relegation cycles shape modern daily life. Youth work and Granadino pride keep Granada on the Spanish football map between Seville, Málaga and the Sierra Nevada. Local identity, player development and the bond with supporters continue to define the club's path in contemporary European football.
