History
Gigantes de Carolina FC belongs to Carolina, Puerto Rico the way a neighbourhood pitch belongs to its streets. Founded in 1999, it has had enough time to collect memories, nicknames and small legends. They move through the domestic pyramid as form and finances allow, like so many clubs of their size. Home games are tied to Estadio Carolina, a ground listed around 3,000 seats — big enough to roar, small enough to feel close. Strip away the big-club noise and sides like Gigantes de Carolina FC are why the sport still feels close to the ground.
