History
Gateway United FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Sagamu to call its own. Going back to 2000, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in Nationwide League One (NLO), where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When Gateway United FC play at Remo Stars Stadium, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Gateway United FC belongs to Sagamu, Nigeria.
