História
Gateshead FC, founded in 1977 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Tynesiders / Heed, it collected the 1977 refounding (after Gateshead United folded), the 2023 FA Trophy final and the International Stadium. Rivalry with os clubes do Nordeste inglês and a white and black identity shape fans and narrative. Gateshead International Stadium, local support and Gateshead International Stadium sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
