History
Fortitudo 2007 started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Vatican City to call its own. Since 2007 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Campionato della Città del Vatican City means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Fortitudo 2007 play at Associazione Sportiva La Salle, the stands hold roughly 500 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. That mix of place, patience and belonging is what makes Fortitudo 2007 matter beyond the final score.
