History
FK Austria Wien, founded in 1911 in Vienna, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Violets, it collected multiple Austrian Bundesliga titles and cups. Rivalry with SK Rapid Wien and a violet and white identity shape fans and narrative. Generali Arena, local support and Vienna Derby and Generali Arena sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
