História
FC Universitatea Cluj, founded in 1919 in Cluj-Napoca and Transylvania, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Red Caps, it collected university tradition, cups and the Cluj derby. Rivalry with CFR Cluj and a white and black identity shape fans and narrative. Stadionul Cluj Arena, local support and Red Caps and Cluj Arena sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
