Crest meaning

The FC Jazz crest combines black, white and red with Pori Stadium black-and-red. The badge marks Pori, Satakunta and Jazz tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football. Colours, mascot and place on the local map keep the badge off an empty template.

History

FC Jazz, founded in 1937 in Pori, Satakunta, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Jazz, it collected the 1993 and 1996 Finnish championships (FC Jazz name from 1991, formerly PPT); the first team folded in 2005 over debts and the current project is a restart from the youth side. Rivalry with Inter Turku, TPS e HJK and a black, white and red identity shape fans and narrative. Pori Stadium, local support and Pori Stadium sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
