Crest meaning
For a club from Riga, Latvia, the crest is a shorthand for belonging. Photographers frame it, kids draw it, and opponents recognise it from the tunnel. In other words, the badge is not decoration — it is how FC Daugava Rīga shows up in the world.

History
Supporters in Riga have watched FC Daugava Rīga through lean seasons and better ones alike. Since 1948 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Some years bring promotion pushes; others are about staying upright and paying the bills. Matchdays revolve around Daugava Stadium (about 5,000 capacity), with the usual mix of season tickets, walk-ups and family groups. If football is a map of cities and towns, FC Daugava Rīga is one clear pin in Latvia.
