History
Football in Almaty would look thinner without sides like FC CSKA Almaty. Since 1990 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Division status can change from one campaign to the next, but the badge stays the same. Central Stadium is where the colours gather. Capacity sits near 23,804, and on a good afternoon it still feels intimate. People who love the game for its texture — not only its trophies — will recognise FC CSKA Almaty immediately.
