Crest meaning
The FC Copenhagen crest combines white and blue with lion and Copenhagen tower. The badge marks Copenhagen and The Citys Team tradition, distinct from generic filler. The shield summarises triumphs, rivalries and local pride in contemporary football.
History
FC Copenhagen, founded in 1992 in Copenhagen, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as The Citys Team, it collected Superliga dominance, Danish cups and Champions League rounds. Rivalry with Brøndby (New Firm) and a white and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Parken Stadium, local support and Nordic title machine and Parken sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
