History
Eintracht Frankfurt, founded in 1899 in Frankfurt am Main, is one of Germany's most popular clubs. German champions, Europa League (2022) and UEFA Cup (1980) winners, the Adler marked Hessen. Red, black and white colours and the eagle on the crest define identity. Deutsche Bank Park (Waldstadion) hosts intense support; regional rivalries and European cycles shape daily life. Youth work and supporter culture keep Eintracht on the German and European football map. Local identity, player development and the bond with supporters continue to define the club's path in contemporary European football.
