History
Ask anyone around Brasília about local football and Defelê Futebol Clube usually comes up sooner or later. Going back to 1960, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in Futebol do Distrito Federal (histórico), where results swing between hope and hard lessons. Matchdays revolve around Estádio municipal de Brasília (about 5,000 capacity), with the usual mix of season tickets, walk-ups and family groups. If football is a map of cities and towns, Defelê Futebol Clube is one clear pin in Brazil.
