History
Crystal Palace Football Club, founded in 1905 in London, established itself in the Premier League with regular top-flight spells and FA Cup finals. Known as The Eagles, the club represents South London and plays at Selhurst Park, famed for the Holmesdale Road atmosphere. Red and blue colours, London rivalries and idols such as Ian Wright and Wilfried Zaha shape the identity. Cycles between the Championship and Premier League, academy work and occasional European nights define the modern story. Selhurst and the eagle remain unmistakable Palace symbols in English football.
