History
Congress FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Monrovia to call its own. Going back to 1990, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in Third Division, where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When Congress FC play at Estádio municipal, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Congress FC belongs to Monrovia, Liberia.
