História
Club Universidad de Chile, founded in 1927 in Santiago, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as La U, it collected 2011 Copa Sudamericana, Chilean titles and university tradition. Rivalry with Colo-Colo e Universidad Católica and a blue and red identity shape fans and narrative. Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos, local support and historic Ballet Azul and Estadio Nacional sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
