History
There is nothing flashy about the story of Chintheche United, and that is part of its charm. The club dates back to 1990, a year that still anchors how older fans talk about its beginnings. In National Division League they share the calendar with regional rivals and the occasional surprise cup run. When Chintheche United play at Mpira Stadium, the stands hold roughly 10,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Chintheche United belongs to Rumphi, Malawi.
