History
CD Guadalajara, founded in 1947 in Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as el Dépor / Guadalajara, it collected the 1947 identity, historic Segunda División cycles and Pedro Escartín (Spanish club, distinct from Mexican Chivas). Rivalry with os clubes de Castela-Mancha and a red and white identity shape fans and narrative. Pedro Escartín, local support and Pedro Escartín sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
