History
Cardiff Metropolitan University FC started as a local answer to a simple need: a team for Cardiff to call its own. Since 2000 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Cymru Premier means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Cardiff Metropolitan University FC play at Cyncoed Campus, the stands hold roughly 1,500 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. That mix of place, patience and belonging is what makes Cardiff Metropolitan University FC matter beyond the final score.
