História
Canterbury United FC is one of those clubs that quietly keep the game alive in New Zealand. Since 2004 the name has stayed on team sheets, programmes and dressing-room doors. Playing in Histórico (NZFC / National Soccer League) means midweek travel, tight budgets and crowds that know every player by name. When Canterbury United FC play at English Park, the stands hold roughly 5,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, Canterbury United FC belongs to Christchurch, New Zealand.
