História
Avaí Futebol Clube, founded in 1923 in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Lion of the Island, it collected multiple Catarinense titles and Série A promotions from Ressacada. Rivalry with o Figueirense, no clássico da Ilha and a blue and white identity shape fans and narrative.
