Crest meaning
Roma's crest features the Capitoline she-wolf with Romulus and Remus, Rome's foundation myth, on giallorossa colours. The symbol is civic and cultural — not a generic ornament. It summarises capital identity, imperial narrative in club culture and a deep bond with the Eternal City, without inventing heraldic elements that are not present.

History
Associazione Sportiva Roma was founded in 1927 from a merger of Roman clubs and became the capital's main giallorosso emblem. It has won Serie A titles and multiple Coppe Italia, with European success including the UEFA Europa Conference League. The Stadio Olimpico is shared with Lazio; the Derby della Capitale is among Europe's most intense fixtures. Yellow and red — gold and imperial purple in cultural narrative — and the Capitoline she-wolf mark identity. Domestic success eras, European nights and a passionate support base sustain Romanista culture across nearly a century of history in Italian football.
