History
There is nothing flashy about the story of AS Police Républicaine, and that is part of its charm. Going back to 1980, the side has seen the game change around it while keeping a local core. Most seasons they line up in Celtiis Ligue Pro Zone B, where results swing between hope and hard lessons. When AS Police Républicaine play at Stade Charles de Gaulle, the stands hold roughly 15,000 — numbers that matter less than the noise the regulars make. Write the history in big headlines or in quiet paragraphs; either way, AS Police Républicaine belongs to Porto-Novo, Benin.
