History
Supporters in Vatican City have watched AS Cirioni through lean seasons and better ones alike. Its foundation year, 1982, places it among the clubs that helped shape organised football in the area. Some years bring promotion pushes; others are about staying upright and paying the bills. Matchdays revolve around Campo vaticano (about 500 capacity), with the usual mix of season tickets, walk-ups and family groups. If football is a map of cities and towns, AS Cirioni is one clear pin in Vatican City.
