Arenas Club de Getxo, founded in 1909 in Getxo, Biscay, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Rojinegros / Arenas, it collected the 1919 Copa del Rey (5–2 vs Barcelona after extra time) and founding-member status of La Liga in 1929, at Gobela. Rivalry with o Athletic Club e os outros clubes vizcaínos and a red and black identity shape fans and narrative. Campos de Gobela, local support and Campos de Gobela sustain the contemporary project.
