History
Amazonas Futebol Clube, founded in 2019 in Manaus, Amazonas, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as the Onça / Amazonas FC, it collected the Amazonense title and a fast rise to Série B a few years after 2019. Rivalry with Nacional e os clubes de Manaus and a yellow, black and red identity shape fans and narrative. Arena da Amazônia, local support and Arena da Amazônia sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
