History
AF Elbasani, founded in 2011 in Elbasan, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as AF Elbasani, it collected the 2011 identity, Kategoria Superiore cycles and Elbasan Arena (KS Elbasani's 1983–84 title is not assigned here). Rivalry with Tirana, Partizani e Skënderbeu and a yellow and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Elbasan Arena, local support and Elbasan Arena sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
