History

Known as Stanley, it collected the 1968 reformation after the original club folded, the 2006 EFL promotion and the Crown Ground. Rivalry with os clubes de Lancashire and a red and white identity shape fans and narrative. Wham Stadium, local support and Wham Stadium sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals. The sporting project balances a memory of triumphs with the demands of the modern elite.
