History
1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, founded in 2004 in Probstheida, Leipzig, is a national football reference and a marked continental presence. Known as Lok, it collected the 2004 phoenix club (heritage of 1893 VfB Leipzig, first German champions in 1903) and Bruno-Plache-Stadion. Rivalry with os outros clubes de Leipzig and a yellow and blue identity shape fans and narrative. Bruno-Plache-Stadion, local support and Bruno-Plache-Stadion sustain the contemporary project. Youth work, management and competitive ambition define the current cycle against historic rivals.
